Suzuki Marine Announces DF2.5 Competition at Southampton Boat Show

Suzuki Marine is giving visitors to the Southampton International Boat Show 2025 a chance to win a brand-new DF2.5 in a daily competition that demonstrates the remarkable efficiency of this portable outboard motor.

 

Using one litre of Aspen fuel, a DF2.5 will be running on each day of the show on Suzuki’s stand (W040). Visitors to the stand will be invited to leave their guesses on when the outboard will run out of fuel. The person whose guess is correct, or closest to the actual time on the day, will win a DF2.5.

 

In total, ten Suzuki DF2.5 outboards will be given away across the duration of the show. The throttle position will be changed each day to keep visitors guessing on the engine’s running duration. Winners will be notified by Suzuki Marine, and full details of how to claim their prize will be provided in the prize notification message.

 

Portable. Fun. Lightweight.
The Suzuki DF2.5 is the lightest 4-stroke outboard in its class, offering exceptional portability and ease of use with its compact design, while still delivering Suzuki’s renowned reliability and performance.

 

Its 360 steering allows for thrust in all directions, while water cooling enables the outboard to remain quieter and efficient by reducing the temperature of the engine.

 

Running Cleaner
The DF2.5 used for the competition will be fuelled by Aspen 4, a cleaner-burning alternative to standard petrol. The fuel is virtually free from ethanol, benzene and other harmful substances, resulting in improved air quality, better engine performance and reduced environmental impact. This makes it ideal for marine engines and ensures that Suzuki’s on-stand demonstration is carried out in the most responsible way possible.

1. Promoter
   The promoter of this competition is Suzuki GB PLC, Marine Division (“Suzuki Marine”), Steinbeck Crescent, Snelshall West, Milton Keynes, MK4 4AE.
   
   
   
   
2. Competition Details
• At the Southampton Boat Show 2025, Suzuki Marine will run a DF2.5 outboard motor each day on 1 litre of Aspen fuel.
• Visitors are invited to guess the time at which the engine will run out of fuel.
• The individual whose guess is correct, or nearest to the actual time, will be deemed the winner for that day.
  
  
3. Prizes
• One (1) Suzuki DF2.5 outboard motor will be awarded each day of the Southampton Boat Show 2025 (10 prizes in total).
• Winners will be contacted by Suzuki Marine staff to arrange collection of the prize from their nearest authorised Suzuki Marine dealer.
• No cash alternative or substitute prize is available.
  
  
  
4. How to Enter
• Entry is only available in person at the Suzuki Marine stand (Stand W040) during the Southampton Boat Show, 19^th – 28^th September 2025.
• To enter, participants must complete the sign-up process provided by Suzuki Marine staff.
• Only one entry per person per day is permitted.
  
  
  
5. Eligibility
• Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
• Employees of Suzuki GB PLC, its dealers, agents, or anyone professionally associated with this competition are not eligible to enter.
  
  
  
6. Winner Notification
• Winners will be notified by Suzuki Marine staff either in person at the show or via the contact details provided on entry.
• Arrangements will then be made for the prize to be collected from the winner’s nearest Suzuki Marine dealer.
• If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the competition closing, Suzuki Marine reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

• By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
• Suzuki Marine’s decision in all matters relating to this competition is final and binding.
• Suzuki Marine reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
• The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
